"Double the stated cost"

prices shown on our platform are intended to be inclusive of labour, parts, and VAT. This should have happened. I was quoted £99 when I picked up my car a further £95 was charged so in total £194. They blamed a “glitch”. This feels misleading. If pricing is incorrect, customers should be informed and asked to approve any changes before work is carried out—not after. Disappointing experience and poor transparency. I would not recommend without clearer pricing practice

"Very honest and great service"

Simple MOT but I only used them as they looked after my daughter's first car recently and they noticed it needed a top up of oil, they just topped it up without a charge and got her on her way.

"Not Affordits fault. But left frustrated."

I'd booked my car in to the garage, via 'bookmygarage' site. I've used both before with no issues. I turn up to Affordit it on Saturday morning. Along with a young lady. After waiting a while a chap came out and said that they couldn't do it on a saturday. Again it wasn't the fault of Affordit. As I've previously had a good experience with them. But I can now not get back to the garage during the week. I'm now reluctant to use bookmygarage.
